Nick was born in Amsterdam Holland on March 28 1946. He grew up in Amsterdam and when he was 14 his family moved to Zandvoort, a village on the North Sea. Nick always loved the theatre, and he remembered his Dad taking him to see “Toon Hermans”, a very popular Dutch Artist, who performed a three hour One Man Show in “Carre” a large theatre in Amsterdam. Toon Herman's was Nick's inspiration when he grew up and he still can recite many of Toon's monologues. Nick started performing in Zandvoort in Holland

There must be a connection between his love for Frank, because Nick has only been in Vegas 3 times in his life, but on May 14 1998 Nick was walking on the Strip in Vegas and saw all the lights turned off in honour of Frank's passing. Nick and his family moved to Victoria BC in 1987 and continued with “The Nicolodeon Players” and performed musicals like” The Phantom Of The Country Opera”, “The Sound Of Music” and he also collaborated with two friends to write the musical ”Kama Sutra The Musical” a highly successful Fringe Festival show.
